Cincinnati Song Initiative will host the third Cincinnati songSLAM! Up to twelve teams each present a single new song for voice and piano in any language. The voting audience—in the poetry slam tradition—then votes for their favorite songs and awards a total of $2,000 in prize money. Don’t miss this fun event that engages both performers and audience members equally, all while bringing beautiful new “song babies” (©Kathy Kelly) into the world!
January 20 | 7pm ET: Song videos go live on CSI’s website and voting opens via each team’s unique text-to-vote code.
January 21: Keep sharing those videos! Spread the word! Continue bringing in votes for your favorite team - or teams!
January 23 | 7pm ET: The 2022 Cincinnati songSLAM - live and in person!
January 23 | 9pm ET: Voting closes at the end of the live SLAM and the three teams with the most votes receive a total of $2,000 in cash prizes!
