Sparks & Wiry Cries partners with NATS for a GRAND songSLAM!  The SLAM will take place on the opening night of the NATS National Conference in downtown Chicago on July 1st at 8:00 PM.

The Sparks & Wiry Cries songSLAM is a unique and energizing community event for composer/performer teams to premiere new art songs and compete for cash prizes. Each team will present a new song of approximately 5 minutes or less for voice and piano in any language for the voting audience, who—in the poetry slam tradition—will then vote on their favorite and award $4,000 in prize money!

• Free registration for the live, in-person GRAND songSLAM

• Note that your GRAND songSLAM song cannot be the same as any work performed in past regional songSLAM competitions.

• NATS will waive the Conference registration fee for ALL competing teams.
